Random Odds and Ends

I’ve never been good at keeping a running blog. I’ve done things on WordPress.com, a third party hosted WordPress site, dalliance with micro.blog, and now back to WordPress.com. Once again I will try to do some semi-regular posting for the audience of 0 that I expect. Maybe someday my family will actually visit on occasion, but unless I actually write more than once a year, little incentive for them to do so.

I’m in the process for getting a real domain assigned to this, but apparently it will take at least 5 days for this process to complete. Out of my hands as the registrar doesn’t seem to have any mechanism for speeding up or removing their grace period. Another piece of validation for moving on from them. But once that is done, hopefully I won’t have to do it again for a while.

I may be changing up the theme and whatnot here. I don’t really know what to do with this site right now. Doubt there will be any storefronts, memberships or subscriptions, or any of that because it seems like a lot of work to maintain. Plus I have nothing of substance to really offer, other than my mindless banter. So, some changes coming; I just don’t know when or what they are.
